In the 2018 Throne speech, The Government announced that they would be considering the introduction of legislation to eliminate single-use plastics from Bermuda. More recently Minister Roban made a statement reiterating Government's intention to begin eliminating certain single-use plastic items as soon as this year. To help us understand why this is important and what this may mean for us in the future Katie Berry and Erich Hetzel of Beyond Plastic Bermuda will be presenting a webinar entitled The Problem with Plastic.

Beyond Plastic Bermuda is a consortium of Environmental groups working collaboratively to provide information to the public regarding the dangers posed by single-use plastics and to support any Government policy or legislation aimed at eliminating single-use plastics from Bermuda.
