The Bermuda Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present “Introduction to Dispute Resolution,” an informative lunchtime session exploring practical ways businesses can resolve disputes outside of the traditional court system. Inevitably, disagreements arise in commerce — but costly and time-consuming litigation isn’t the only path forward. This session will outline the key forms of alternative dispute resolution (ADR), including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and other modern approaches designed to preserve business relationships and achieve fair outcomes efficiently.
 
The session will be led by Jeffrey Elkinson, a distinguished Bermudian attorney with extensive experience in commercial dispute resolution. Jeffrey is a Consultant at Carey Olsen specializing in arbitration, mediation, and complex commercial litigation. He serves on multiple arbitration panels and is widely recognized for his expertise in advising businesses on managing disputes strategically while protecting their professional relationships.
