Round 3 – A Deep dive into the housing in Bermuda (Afternoon Session)

Join the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce in reviewing a deep dive into the Bermuda housing challenge and help build real solutions. This is not just a data session. This session will be an informed deep dive into current decision making and will require a pragmatic, commercial view.

Due to anticipated numbers, we will be hosting two, 90-minute sessions on 12 June 2025:

10:00 am-11:30 am
12:30 pm-2:00 pm

Each session will:

Consist of a short, sharp presentation of the facts & a focused Q&A to build understanding
Explore the data and dynamics
Tackle impressions and perceptions
Dispel myths
Expand your understanding of the depth and breath of the issue
And confront the inconvenient truths that must be faced and considered if we’re serious about solutions.

Topics will include, but are not limited to:

housing;
the current job landscape;
healthcare;
our aging population; and
most importantly: we’ll extract your ideas, your insights, and your solutions!

We are looking to welcoming our members, policymakers, the youth of Bermuda, planners, lenders, employers, developers, Quangos, and any member of the public. We’ll be leaning into clarity, creativity, and bold, outside-the-box thinking.

If you’ve thought, “Yes, that’s the problem,” or “I’ve got an idea that could help,”—we want you there.
If you’re a skeptic - come anyway.
If your idea is wild and crazy - even better!

We need to take every idea in, evaluate them, and see how they fit together to form part of a larger national response. What’s important to note is that if this were easy to fix, Bermuda would’ve done it already. We want all ideas!

This will be a presentation of the data turned into information. We ask that all attendees come ready to be comfortable with the uncomfortable!
